Today animal activist group, PETA (People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals) conducted their most recent publicity stunt - 'Fur Is Dead', targeted at Armani, complete with 3 coffins and "dead bodies" at Bondi Junction.
The group claims to use such stunts to help create awareness for their cause, which otherwise may fall on relatively dead ears.
Models were seen preparing with coffins, bodypaint and other props at Spring Street, Bondi Junction, and then walked to the busy mall, lay down in their coffins, where news media and members of the public made a beeline for a closer look.
A woman who appeared to be the organiser was seen handing our pahlets and notified media she was open to making a statement to the video reports.
It's understood that media such as SBS, Channel 7 and Channel 9 will be reporting on the stunt in tonight's evening news.
To fur or not to fur? You been the judge, jury and executioner. Rest in peace.
